Reconnecting people with places.Reuniting people with places.

We believe neighbourhoods are shaped by the human stories of their spaces.

We are all the architects of where we live, work and come together through the ways our everyday lives embroider them with meaning. At the heart of Brodee is the desire to nurture this fragile yet deep connection between people and place to elevate our built environments and unlock their potential. We aim to do this in three different ways: investment, development or consultancy.

Shaping neighbourhood cornerstones

We uphold the human connections to places by preserving the unique spirit of their spaces. Because buildings do more than stand — they hold memories, carry culture and create lasting legacies for their communities and cities. We see, in every curation, the potential to be a neighbourhood cornerstone: to retain, restore or redefine more than its four walls.

The craft of collaboration

Rather than a single thread, we work as a harmony of many. From visionary architects to leading legal minds, we collaborate with like-minded figures renowned for the quality and integrity of their work. Collaboration, too, is an art, something to be tended to in order to foster fulfilling relationships that endure. We see a project as more than just a process; it’s a journey — a stirring story arc that everyone involved should be energised and inspired by just as much as the final, finished piece.

Proven expertise with international perspective

Brodee’s founder Daniel Brownlee is a former partner at Knight Frank, with a career that has seen him entrusted with high-profile places for clients in global cities from London to Brisbane. His work has predominantly been for commercial developers, landlords and occupiers in London, advising on period townhouses and warehouse retrofit projects to some of the largest placemaking schemes and estates in the Capital.

Born in France with a Scottish father and Welsh mother, and now with a Spanish wife, Daniel adopts an international perspective rooted in a respect for local cultural traditions and the importance of family. This philosophy very much underpins Brodee’s perspective as we build a positive legacy that Daniel’s daughter and family will be proud of.

Daniel holds a Master’s degree in International Real Estate & Planning from The Bartlett at UCL, a Bachelor’s degree in Geography & Planning from Cardiff University, and is a professional member of the RICS.
